About

Scarlett Loran is a 21-year-old singer songwriter from Bath. The raw honesty in her voice allows listeners to harken back to the sincerity of traditional folk, supported by a modern production. Scarlett’s emotive style of writing reflects a wide range of influences including Bon Iver, Daughter and Sigur Ros.

Scarlett has recently taken part in a co-writing camp with Universal Publishing and has worked with writers such as Jamie Biles (Miles Kane, Delilah Montagu), Ines Dunn (Maisie Peters, Holly Humberstone) & many others. Her popularity is rising within the Bristol music scene, having performed several Sofar Sounds shows and at venues across the city including The Fleece and Thekla.

At the end of 2023, Scarlett wrote two songs for the We Are the Possible Project – an initiative to change the narratives around climate change for the next generation. This culminated in her being flown out to Dubai to perform solo on four stages at the international climate conference COP28.

With songs that speak beyond their lyrics, Scarlett Loran is an artist to watch.
